Marco's experience of supporting autistic and neurodivergent children stretches back to 2003, when he began working with and teaching children on the autistic spectrum. His professional experience later became deeply personal when he and Amy began navigating the challenges of securing the right understanding and support for their own son. Those experiences, together with several years of independently supporting other families, ultimately led to the creation of PEAK.
As CEO, Marco leads the strategic and operational development of the charity while continuing to work directly with children, families, schools and professionals. His work encompasses advocacy, SEND and education support, training and consultancy, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that support is centred around the individual needs of each child.
Under Marco's leadership, PEAK has grown from a parent-led initiative into a registered charity supporting neurodivergent children and families across Gloucestershire and increasingly throughout the UK. At the heart of his approach is a simple principle: "Every Child should have the Opportunity, Support and Understanding to reach their Peak potential"
Marco continues to combine his professional experience with his perspective as a parent, ensuring that the voices of children and families remain central to PEAK's development and its vision for the future.

Amy co-founded PEAK – Parenting Empowered Autistic Kids with her husband, Marco, in 2020, helping to transform their family's experiences into a vision for supporting other neurodivergent children and their families.

Amy co-founded PEAK – Parenting Empowered Autistic Kids with her husband, Marco, in 2020, helping to transform their family's experiences into a vision for supporting other neurodivergent children and their families.
With more than a decade of experience working with children, Amy's background has included working within schools and family support groups, co-running a children's soft play centre and establishing her own children's entertainment business.
These experiences helped shape her creative, compassionate and family-centred approach to supporting children.
As a mother of three, including an autistic child, Amy also understands first-hand the challenges families can encounter when navigating education, support and everyday family life. This lived experience was at the heart of the decision to establish PEAK and continues to influence the values upon which the charity is built.
Creativity has always been an important part of Amy's life. Alongside her work with children and families, she has a passion for writing and has recently completed her first novel, marking an exciting personal milestone and a new chapter in her creative journey.
Amy remains actively involved with PEAK, supporting the charity across a variety of areas and continuing to contribute her experience, creativity and understanding of families to its work. As Co-Founder, she remains an important part of PEAK's ongoing development and the values and vision that have guided the charity since its beginnings.
For Amy, PEAK represents something that began with her own family but grew into something much bigger: a commitment to ensuring families feel understood and supported, while giving neurodivergent children every opportunity to reach their PEAK potential.

James first came to PEAK as a parent, when his family received support from the charity during a time when his son was in need. Having experienced first-hand the difference that effective advocacy, understanding and family support can make, James chose to give something back and joined PEAK as a volunteer in 2023.
Over the following 18 months, James dedicated his time to training and developing as a Family Support Consultant, using both his lived experience as a parent and his growing knowledge of SEND to support other families facing similar challenges.
Since joining PEAK, James has dedicated hundreds of hours to supporting children and families. His work has included helping children access appropriate educational provision, supporting parents in meetings with schools and professionals, mediation, advocacy and assisting families navigating SEND Tribunal processes.
In 2026, James took on the role of Lead Family Support Consultant at PEAK. Today, he works alongside our dedicated team to support families through what can often be complex and challenging circumstances, helping them understand their options and ensuring that the needs of the child remain at the heart of the process.
James's journey represents something particularly important to PEAK: a parent who once came to the charity for support and who now uses that experience to provide guidance, understanding and hope to other families.
